Executive Director Simone Jones

Simone Jones began her relationship with CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties in the fall of 1998. She became part of the original Steering Committee to start up a CASA program in the 17th Judicial District. In 2000, she became the President of the first Board of Directors for CASA of Adams County. In January 2001, Simone took over as the Executive Director and began to grow the new CASA program. In 2002, Simone worked with Broomfield Health & Human Services to establish the CASA program in the new, developing City and County of Broomfield, the newest addition to the 17th Judicial District. In spring of 2004, Simone took an extended maternity leave and returned to serve on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. In 2006, she came back part- time as the Development Director and in February of 2007, returned as the Executive Director of CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties. In 10 years, CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties has consistently served the 2nd highest number of abused & neglected children in the state (out of 14 agencies) and trains the 2nd highest number of volunteer advocates in the state.
Simone has lived in Brighton, CO for 13 ½ years. She has been married to Jonathan, in management for Petsmart, for 17 years and has three children, Jordan (15), Alec (13) and Kylar (6). Before becoming involved with CASA, Simone was a middle school English teacher. Simone serves on the Board of Directors for the Platte Valley Medical Center Foundation Board, the Brighton Montessori School Board and the ClubOne Volleyball Organization Board. She is a graduate of the Metro North Leadership Program and the CRC Non Profit Leadership and Management Program. She received the Colorado CASA Staff Person of the Year in October 2008.
