The efforts of our CASA Volunteers are so appreciated, and we are always trying to make sure our Volunteer Advocates know how valued they are.

John Osmundson was sworn in on October 6th, 2021 and has worked on one case continuously since. His continued hard work for CASA has not gone unnoticed and that is why he was nominated as the Volunteer of the Month for August!

John is the kind of CASA every child deserves. John goes above and beyond his CASA duties to make the children feel so special.  He communicates well with the caseworker and the foster mother and always seems to ask the right questions.
 
One of the best ways John went above and beyond for his CASA kids was by dressing up for one of their birthdays in a full superhero costume.  The kids loved it!
 
Recently, John attended a virtual court hearing just 3 days after having back surgery. He is a constant for these kids, doing whatever he can to be there for them!
