Why Give to CASA?
By making a contribution to CASA, you are helping to provide a voice for a child who may feel as though they do not have one. With your help, we can continue to strengthen families and build better futures for children and youth in our community.
Your Impact
Did you know that youth who age out of foster care when they turn 18 are more likely to face risk factors such as becoming incarcerated, experiencing homelessness, and being unemployed? Those factors add up to future direct costs to the community of $300,000 to support each of these youth.
But having a stable adult like a CASA Volunteer in the life of a child in foster care can dramatically reduce those future risk factors.
Research has shown that children with a CASA Volunteer are more likely to find a safe, permanent home, more likely to succeed in school, and half as likely to re-enter the foster care system.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of our community and donors like you to help provide court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
You can Change a Child’s StoryTM with a contribution to CASA.

Make a One-Time Donation
Your tax-deductible gift will help to provide children and youth from the child welfare system with the life-changing advocacy of a CASA Volunteer. Every dollar you donate to CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, which decreases the after-tax cost of your donation by 50%. That means if you donate $100, you may claim an income tax credit of $50.

Become a Recurring Donor
Recurring donors are critical to the growth of our organization and play a direct role in helping us advance the CASA mission. Your recurring monthly gift provides a consistent revenue stream and sustains our CASA Program throughout the year so we can continue to serve vulnerable and at-risk children in our community.
It is also a convenient way for donors to spread their gift across the year. Your recurring gift of just $100 a month will enable CASA to recruit, train, and supervise one CASA Volunteer, who will provide advocacy for at least one child over the course of a year.
Please note that by making a donation to CASA, you are automatically added to our email list, but can update your email preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Featured Donor
Mark and Joanne have been CASA supporters for nearly 10 nears. Mark shared about why they continue to support CASA; “Dozens of agencies ask us for donations, but with CASA, we can watch our giving put to use right in front of us as we see the program grow. We want to see every child in the system benefit from a CASA – but we have a long way to go. That’s why we volunteer for Indulge and other events, why we urge others to give, and why we doubled our monthly contribution this year.”
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss other ways to give back to CASA, please contact CASA Development Manager Lisa Gallegos at lisa@casa17th.com or 720-523-2860.
