Meet A Volunteer - Jayson

Hello! My name is Jayson Sale and I have been a CASA Volunteer for about 6 months and I am currently working on my first case.

I recently retired from the Fire Department, and I wanted to do something to continue to help others. A friend of mine told me about the CASA Program and it sounded like the perfect opportunity for me.

Since becoming a CASA Volunteer, one of the lessons I have learned is that you never know what others are going through or have gone through. Sometimes the simplest things can make the biggest difference in someone’s life.

There have been challenging moments, but it’s important to take a step back and remember what these kids have been through. Their circumstances are not their fault, and I have to continue to be there for them.

The best part about being a CASA Volunteer are the heartwarming moments. It brings me so much joy every time I see my CASA kid run, laugh, and do the things he enjoys. It has been very heartwarming to see him have the opportunity to be a kid.

Interested in becoming a CASA Volunteer? Jump in and do it! It’s hard to explain how rewarding this is without experiencing it yourself. It’s been more rewarding than I would have ever imagined.
