Be the Source

Be the Source delivers a compassionate, evidence-informed presentation on its holistic, trauma informed supports for children and families impacted by the child welfare system. Highlighting programs for foster, kinship, and biological parents—including trauma informed parenting education, no cost therapeutic services (including equine-assisted labs), relief and respite services, personalized family advocacy, and a statewide Ambassador peer network.

Grounded in lived experience and equity, this presentation shares outcomes and data demonstrating improved caregiver capacity, placement stability, mental health access, and reunification support; describes collaborative partnerships and bilingual offerings; and outlines how Be the Source’s community centered “WE” approach reduces caregiver burnout, strengthens family healing, and advances system wide change.
